Of the many myths that exist within our world there are a few that tend to do more for my weight loss then others. By weight loss I mean vomiting frequently and with enough force to blow little statist piggies walls in. The following is a small list of these myths and my responses. Please enjoy, whether you agree with me or with the myth promoting few I care not. After all as a free man, I will do what I wish. None of my responses will cross the non aggression principle.
Myth number one, anarchists are evil bastards who are lazy and completely incapable of any benefit.According to Max Velocity, a “proud” military man and “tactical trainer”,
But you see, the anarchist types never train anyway, and they are not going to fight for America, ever. Why fight for America when you hate the place, even the very Constitution? These are as much enemies of freedom as statist lefties. So we are not concerned about that. They are just self-absorbed cowards.
Max, I have never been in the military. I am what you would call an anarchist. I train, extensively and far more then most “military” and “police” whom you worship with such vigor. I am very much against the Constitution, because it was written by Hamilton “originally” and endorsed by men who wanted only power. You see Max, your special group of founders were so pissed off about the constitution that over half who were invited didnt even show up, as for signing it, why not check that for yourself. Now, the coward comment. This one is actually the funniest, you see by definition voters like you who refuse to ACT against the law, constitution, government and its badged and uniformed enforcement are the cowards. I will agree with you in that I am self absorbed, I am a selfish individual, HONEST, and selfish. If you were honest you would see that as a human/animal you are also selfish “by common definition”.
Myth number two, if you dont vote you cannot complain. This one is alone one of the greatest of the myths that is verbally uttered with regularity, I even wrote an article several years back before my philosophical change to anarchism that we MUST vote if we want change. The simple fact is, by voting you agree to the terms of the very government with whom you have most objections. If your side doesnt win, stop complaining, that is what a republic/democracy or any other form of government is. One side wins and another loses, the reality is that ALL who are not among the elite lose with every election. Regardless the seeming occasional victory, winners are only those in charge and their major financial support. Those who like myself choose instead to say FUCK YOU to the law makers and their uniformed and badged door kicking mob enforcers can if we wish complain. Though in reality complaining is quite ridiculous and accomplishes NOTHING. It is only action that has any affect.
Myth three and one of the more sad of the myths, Without a state, law and enforcers of the state there can be no peace or benefit to the general public. Max Velocity writes again that we anarchists are simply stupid creatures that must have government and in fact without government everything would fall apart.
Anarchists suffer the same issue as pacifists – pacifists can only enjoy the fruits of their pacifism because rough men stand watch over them in the night. Anarchists can enjoy their associations of three dudes or whatever because they live within a state that provides law and structure. Whether or not that state is perfect right now or not is irrelevant, because if it went away, then it’s chaos time!
Not only is this incorrect it is sadly among the most common of the myths believed by so many. Crime exists, and humans regardless nature of government or leadership will in fact have more crime then a society in which the individual is their own king. What must be understood is that regardless approach, big government, small government or no government there will be criminals against other humans. What is ignored is that the majority of crime committed when government exists is what is called, crime of malum prohibitum, or crime that is crime only because it is prohibited by government. The only other type of crime without getting into the quite long list of specific crimes is, malum in se or that which is evil in itself.
Murder can be agreed upon by most to be wrong, and by murder I mean quite simply, killing of another human without reason or justification. Self defense is NOT murder. I believe quite strongly that there are only three types of malum in se for which the punishment should be death. (And not death by the hands of the state or a ruling body of elders but by the family themselves.)
- Aggravated Rape (forcible rape, not the feminists approach where any sex without express consent and written contract is being called rape these days.)
- Child Abuse both sexual and physical
Theft of private property can be reimbursed by the perpetrator as can any other crime falling under the definition of malum in se.
Malum prohibitum creates criminals it does not make a more polite society or better place to live, rather it constrains the human individual and forces through writing on paper and use of badged and uniformed enforcers to be as all around us are.
A lack of government will not by default result in chaos and endless murder, it is in fact government that has and continues to maintain the largest number of murders of humans simply for the sake of murder in many cases. Democide or “the murder of any person or people by their government, including genocide, politicide and mass murder.” Is the cause of more death and familial turbulence then any other single cause.
As an individual and self described or defined voluntaryist I believe quite strongly that the individual upon voluntarily engaging in business or agreement with other individuals is by far the more beneficial approach then through the use of any government approach.
And please share folks, I enjoy knowing that others are thinking as well.
Free the mind and the body will follow, as a free individual I will never bend a knee to any other man or body of men regardless what others may believe is right.
