Making the change to a more informative website

While writing about the many things we as people living in the United States have to complain about is quite easy to do, there is far more satisfaction to be had in writing to help others learn and live a free life. Over the past several months I have made many changes as an individual, among those the most important being to learn, practice and share information and knowledge. wpid-zombodroid29122014020245.jpg
Admittedly this has not been easy, many others thrive on the negative that surrounds us. Many others have made it their life goal to utilize the same negative approach to blogging and journalism that the state uses. For quite awhile I did this as well. However, I have found that as an individual it is far more important to help others build a free life in an unfree land than to simply share endless amounts of fear. This being said, as the editor of this blog I will of course allow anyone who wishes a platform as long as it does not run against the principles I personally follow. I will not, however, encourage the dissemination of myths, propaganda and conspiracy.

1 Teach our youth

1 Teach our youth

There is a simple reason for my not encouraging these things. The simple fact is that myths while occassionally based on some small amount of fact are in so many cases used to commit atrocities. Propaganda is in many cases entirely fiction and I prefer fact as a matter of course. Conspiracies while interesting for awhile are again almost always based in myth or propaganda and without much real basis in fact. Conspiracy tends to strengthen the object of a conspiracies focus while almost always weakening the position of those promoting the conspiracy. It is better for free men to focus on what can be proved and most importantly on what is real. wpid-new-logo1.jpg.jpeg
While I may occasionally write an article that could be taken as opinion by some, I will as always do my best to utilize that which can be proven to support it. Most articles I will be writing or promoting in the future will be of the sort that are based as much in fact as is possible to do. I do not expect that this will fare well among many readers. However, it is what my principles demand and this is essential to my individual integrity. If anyone should want to debate, question or otherwise counter what is written, I will publish or in most cases simply give you the ability to publish it yourself. I will not adjust what you write in any way. All I require is that you do not stray outside of what I believe to be the right way of life.
it isnt hard to understand, but it takes dedication and work

it isnt hard to understand, but it takes dedication and work

My principles can be found in print here-

Non Aggression Principle –

Voluntaryism –

If you have additional questions, ask, I do with others and have suffered the loss of “friends” as a result. To be true to oneself is the ultimate goal of a principled man. To be true to ones principles as voiced in deed as well is what makes a man of integrity and honor. I know and have known many individuals, many who love the limelight and others who embrace solitude. What I can know for certain is that men and women of integrity will gladly do that which they preach while those who have no integrity will preach loudly and in many cases fail to do the same.

I would rather die on my feet as a man known for his integrity and honor than die on my knees as a cowardly fool who did some good occasionally.

Free the mind and the body will follow

About Jesse Mathewson

Jesse Mathewson is the author of the popular blog, and provides commentary to many varied places based on a background that includes education in criminal justice, history, religion and even insurgency tactics and tactical training. His current role in his community is as an organizer of sorts and a preacher of community solidarity and agorism. He also runs Liberty Practical Training, a self defense school specializing in the practical applications of defensive approaches versus the theoretical. As an agorist, voluntaryist and atheist his life is seen as crazy and wild by many, though once they get to know him most realize he is a bluntly honest individual who will give you the shirt off his back if he believes it is necessary to help you. Very simple, "That which is voluntary between all individuals involved is always right, if it is not voluntary, it is always wrong."

A teacher, when doing their job right, learns as much from the students as they teach them. Sounds like you are in the right place with this. 🙂

No matter how far we’ve come in our paths, there’s a distinct reality that we were brought up in a statist system that teaches side taking and blame. That keeps us all from actually doing, waiting for the other side to do. Not that I see that much of it in you, but I feel like it’s so deeply implanted in all of us that it ends up being an ongoing fight to not get sucked into the dichotomies that keep us trapped.

You are a man of integrity Jesse. I would expect nothing less than the truth from you, no matter how it may be uncomfortable for some to read and/or accept.
