Plaster saints and freedom fighters

With the recent spate of video, writing and online “superstars” in the freedom world there are bound to be a few plaster saints. Sociopaths are drawn to crowds and will often use that to increase their own popularity and hold over others. These are the same people who become politicians, officers without being a soldier first and cops, generally, they are cowards. 533224_10201086335734113_466050843_n

Freedom fighters on the other hand are those individuals who put everything on the line daily for the beliefs they profess to have. The question that should be asked of every person that desires to become a new star is simple really, “what have you done, not what have you said, but what have you done.” You see being a freedom fighter is more then making appearances, speeches and promises. Being a freedom fighter is doing, actually keeping to what you preach to others. Some may eat it up, but in the end the only ones that will believe are those too stupid to form their own opinions without a leader. Sadly, there are many of them alive and well now.

There is a real threat with these types unfortunately, more then with any single cop or soldier or politician. It is these people who have throughout history been the cause of many a revolutions downfall. Make no mistake, we are engaged in a revolution now, it is a thought revolution, a revolution of the mind. The time is quickly coming when those who spread the idea of freedom will need to stand for it with physical action. It is at this time that you will find the difference between plaster saints and freedom fighters. The unfortunate fact is that most plaster saints will flee, they will hide or turn on others to save their own skins. Most of them have already done this to some degree, some of them may have not yet but will eventually. 20130228-222806.jpg

Know your enemies and be sure to know who your friends are. Friends are easy to know, they are the ones that will not lie to you, will tell you the truth without sugar-coating it and will always keep their word. Trustworthy people are easy to see as well, just do business with others, those who keep their word regardless circumstances are individuals worth having around. All others should be discarded quickly and with surety. Be smart, be safe and always be a step ahead of your emotions.

Free the mind and the body will follow

About Jesse Mathewson

Jesse Mathewson is the author of the popular blog, and provides commentary to many varied places based on a background that includes education in criminal justice, history, religion and even insurgency tactics and tactical training. His current role in his community is as an organizer of sorts and a preacher of community solidarity and agorism. He also runs Liberty Practical Training, a self defense school specializing in the practical applications of defensive approaches versus the theoretical. As an agorist, voluntaryist and atheist his life is seen as crazy and wild by many, though once they get to know him most realize he is a bluntly honest individual who will give you the shirt off his back if he believes it is necessary to help you. Very simple, "That which is voluntary between all individuals involved is always right, if it is not voluntary, it is always wrong."
