So you are a government contractor…

Guess what I really dont fucking care. However, to make claims about your love of freedom while directly assisting the state in its most heinous goals is at best abhorrent. You should be ducking your head and avoiding looking at others regardless what they do or how they gain their incomes, here is why. (Understand this, some of my closest friends are contractors, however, they understand why I believe this, and if they do not, maybe we are not that close.) when_drones_fly_children_die

  1. The average government contractor receives $72,000 annually.*
  2. With an estimated 1,000,000+ deaths as a direct result of the last eleven years of conflicts and government contractors playing a large role in these conflicts they are as much at fault for the deaths as those wearing uniforms or sitting in their porcelain shit thrones in Washington D.C.
  3. Their income is solely derived from theft, murder and even rape of others across the arbitrary boundaries of the United States.
  4. The argument has been made that all persons residing within these borders are “employees” of the state, on this I disagree. An employee is by definition, a person employed for wages or salary, esp. at nonexecutive level. Only those who labor (or barely labor in most cases of government employment) for their checks are employees.
  5. Social security is a program based on money stolen by force from each working individual, taxation is also theft and if an individual truly believes in freedom recompense is necessary. If this is the goal of the freedom minded government contractor then why are they also contributing through their labor additional ways to steal and murder others? I have no problem with people being on welfare or ssi, in fact, I encourage it. Unlike those who directly labor to benefit the very system they are supposedly against, those on alternative programs may labor for themselves and others and regain a small percentage of what was stolen from them. So here is my challenge to the myriad of 3% and freedom lovers and even self proclaimed anarchists currently in government employ. Stop, find alternative employment, live the values you so loudly proclaim to others. You detest cops but support uniforms next too you, can you say logical disconnect?

If you are in service so as to expose the lies and do what Manning and Snowden have done, then I may respect you. However, if you are there solely for profit based on others suffering, you are despicable and unworthy of the title freedom lover.

Free the mind and the body will follow

Oh and remember, today is the 5th of November, remember…check out the REAL agorists and voluntaryists on the right, those people who gain the majority of their subsistence by avoiding the government and NOT registering or gaining clearances or the like.

*All facts readily available, so when you get pissy and post a stupid comment about how I havent linked facts, make sure you know that I will gladly do so, I simply do not want to now.

About Jesse Mathewson

Jesse Mathewson is the author of the popular blog, and provides commentary to many varied places based on a background that includes education in criminal justice, history, religion and even insurgency tactics and tactical training. His current role in his community is as an organizer of sorts and a preacher of community solidarity and agorism. He also runs Liberty Practical Training, a self defense school specializing in the practical applications of defensive approaches versus the theoretical. As an agorist, voluntaryist and atheist his life is seen as crazy and wild by many, though once they get to know him most realize he is a bluntly honest individual who will give you the shirt off his back if he believes it is necessary to help you. Very simple, "That which is voluntary between all individuals involved is always right, if it is not voluntary, it is always wrong."

As one who worked several government contacts through various intermediaries for the governments of several countries during the follies of my youth, I find myself in agreement with your stance on this issue.

However, had I not experienced and seen certain things in the course of said follies, I may have not drawn the conclusions that I did, and I certainly wouldn’t have the same depth and degree of appreciation for just how high the stakes are in the current struggle.

Speaking strictly for and about my own unique individual self here, I personally think and feel deep in my guts that receiving the proceeds of organized armed theft and kidnapping by proxy is every bit as bad as gunning up and going around doing it myself, in person.

But that’s just me, and I’m the only one I hold to that standard. I don’t expect anyone else to go through deprivation and possibly death in order to adhere to my personal standards, and I make a sincere effort to avoid judging others as well – each individual is a reality unto themselves, and lacking omniscience, I lack sufficient data and perspective to do such a thing.

Personally, I think that if someone robs me at gunpoint, this does not in turn provide me with any justification to rob another. I personally think it’s ethically tenuous to go back to the very same proxy thief that robbed me and tell them, “Now, go rob another victim and give their money to me, so I can get some of the money you stole from me back”.

I’m just sayin’… But that’s strictly just me

    • You bring to the fore a really solid point, I would love to see an article on this from you should you feel the desire to write one. Remember we do have a really nice little competition with fun prizes available should you so desire.
